In Detail
In particular, the designs of the link building to the High Street and the main retail building have been significantly transformed to produce a more varied appearance which complements the existing architecture of Brentwoods High Street. This includes the use of a variety of quality materials (brick and masonry), projecting pavilions, canopies to the entries, and mansard roofs.

Other changes include;
  • Reducing the width of the retail building, thereby enlarging the public realm in front of the Cinema and Food store unit, with an improved sight line to the new car park main pedestrian access.
  • The Elevations fronting William Hunter Way are now more varied, adding visual interest and enlarged footpaths
  • The garden wall on the Western boundary has been moved to the east to allow for more planting on the Swan Paddock side.
  • A fire tender / refuse truck turning bay has been added to Chestnut Grove.
  • The number of residential car parks on the North Service Road has been increased from 9 spaces to 11 spaces.
  • The landscaping / public realm proposals have been revised.
